Do you love reciting Hindi/Urdu poems? Sometimes for others and sometimes just for yourself. Well, you are in the right place then. Ek Pyaali Chai Andaaz Challenge is an opportunity to show your love for Hindi/Urdu by reciting a poem. Are you ready?

What is the challenge, and how do I participate?

Challenge: Recite one or more poems from the Ek Pyaali Chai Hindi short movie.

To participate, you need to do the following.

• Watch Ek Pyaali Chai.
• Record the recitation of the poem(s) in your andaaz (style) in either of the following ways not more than 1 minute per clip.
  • Audio/Video clip
  • Audio only clip
• Post recording on your social media channel(s) (Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/YouTube) and use these hashtags:
  #EkPyaaliChaiAndaazChallenge #AlfaazHamareAndaazAapka #EkPyaaliChaiMovie
  • You can post multiple times and on multiple channels. As a general rule of thumb, we will try to go with the most latest clip(s).

Note: By participating in the challenge you allow us to tag you and potentially showcase your clip(s) on our social media channels. We reserve the right to publish your content on our channels.

Deadline: All the recordings must be submitted by December 15, 2021.

What are the rules for participation?

We have 3 simple rules.

• Say your name at the beginning.
• Recite the exact words as in the movie.
• The recording should be audible.

What’s not allowed?

Please refrain from doing the following.

• Use of any software/technology to enhance the vocal quality (like using reverb, etc.) We want your voice to be natural. You can do basic processing (such as noise reduction) to make it audible if needed. But, keep it minimal and simple.
• Use of any background music or other effects.
• The video should contain the participants only. Basic editing to make the video look more professional is fine. But, do not go overboard with special effects, insert shots, etc.

Remember, the goal is recitation!

When will results be available?

We will review the recordings and declare winners on our social media channels after the deadline. We will publish the exact date as we near completion. Please feel free to follow us on social media.

• Record as a group. Now, a group can be anything. You could choose to record with your better half, your close friends, your parents, and even your kids. Yes, this can be a family activity! And, the group doesn’t even have to be local. We leave it to you how you would like to recite as a group.
